Bay Cliff Memories
Fred Rydholm, the voice behind "Stories from Superior Heartland," presents more tales and anecdotes from the early days of Marquette County. Listen to Fred as he talks about the first immigrants to settle in the Big Bay region and the early lumber companies which provided jobs and an economic base for them. Find out how Bay Cliff was founded, and meet the people who got the health camp up and running. Learn of the influence Henry Ford had in the area, including restoring electrical power to Big Bay—and about Fred's personal encounters with the legendary automotive pioneer in the Huron Mountains. In between stories, enjoy some musical interludes, as the Big Bay kids present their renditions of early camp songs.
